Exam
The Belgian qualification exam for recognized patent attorneys with the Belgian Intellectual Property Office is conducted in one of the national languages: Dutch, French, or German. The accreditation commission is divided into Dutch-speaking and French/German-speaking sections, and exam details, including the language, are published in the Belgian Official Journal.

Register
The register of recognized patent attorneys with the Belgian Intellectual Property Office can be consulted via the link below. A candidate for the examination must demonstrate at least three years of experience as an assistant to a accredited attorney, under their direction or as an authorised agent, having participated in the search, preparation, drafting and obtaining of patents.
