PR Committee

Objectives

This committee aims to provide greater transparency to members regarding the activities of the Institute and will work closely with the Council and other committees. The committee will be responsible for preparing communications to both members and the general public, for keeping the website up to date, for publishing a newsletter, and for other communication initiatives.

Projects

Website

The PR Committee has completely redesigned the layout and content of the website, which will now be updated more regularly. A personal section will allow each member to access their personal information, invoices, and minutes of the meetings of the General Assembly.

 

Newsletters & Updates

A quarterly newsletter will be sent to members sharing the latest news. Ad hoc updates will also be communicated via a LinkedIn profile.

 

Collaboration with Other Committees

In partnership with the Young Members Committee, special attention has been given to introducing new members and recently qualified patent attorneys, particularly after publication in the Official Gazette. The renewed website also includes a compilation of legal reference texts useful for the preparation of the examination, as well as details on registration procedures before and after the exam.

 

In collaboration with the Training Committee, evaluations will be conducted to determine the best ways to communicate available training opportunities (and corresponding credits) to members via the website or other channels.
